What are the chances all those snacks, that controller, and jersey make it in the ground with him?

My FIL took a six pack with him in his coffin, minus the one my husband drank with him as his last beer with his dad. We actually spent the entire night at the funeral home with my FIL after the FH closed (you pay extra but it is done- an Italian thing on our part).

Funerals can be pretty interesting and its cool when people do something different rather than just a maudlin, weeping and making the deceased out to be a saint, when likely they were just an average person who would prefer his friends and family do something creative.

I already know how I'm going. I'm gonna be a rock. Mix my ashes with some quickcrete, add dye and some sparkly rocks and call it a day. They always said my head was hard as a rock anyway so this is perfect,

I want a part of my ashes scattered in oceans across the world and I want my family to travel together to do it.

My last way of making them miserable on family vacations together.

I've heard of that before. Some Packers fan did something like it. Jersey, remote in his hand, Packers highlights playing on the TV, beer next to him.

I saw the same thing a few years ago with a Steelers fan.

That is pretty cool. I know of one family whose dad loved to sail and travel so they put a small container of some of his ashes in a bottle, with a note explaining and to let them know where he was and to throw him back somewhere different so he could continue to travel.

I think creative things like this make grief easier.
