Hoodies are not allowed during school hours.
Reasoning is "students" would wear headphones/airpods during instructional times which causes disturbance when teacher has to correct. "Students" also notoriously use the hood to cover their heads & sleep in class. Causing more disturbances when teachers attempt to repeatedly correct the behavior.
The dress code was updated to deal with these 2 primary issues.

No, we’re fighting with kids over obeying the rules (even if we think the rules are dumb).
We have so many problems today because we didn’t bother teaching the problem-makers back when they were kids in school. Probably because we had so many other things to deal with. The problems tend to multiply if you don’t address them early.

Yep, should probably get a GED but why do that? Instead of having to get a job he can go frick off at school all day, eat free and disrupt the other students.
