There are plenty of claims from the right about media references that are overblown. This isn't one of them. If someone can show me widespread use of "white hispanic" in the reporting of non-census/statistic-related news prior to the media needing to bolster the white-black narrative on the Trayvon Martin case, I'll gladly eat crow.
But I don't think anyone can, because it simply doesn't exist.
