We heard some of the first hand accounts yesterday as the kid was a teammate of my cousin. Just crushing, unfathomable stuff.

As a parent you take some solace in this being a very aberration thing - it's not a realistic fear you've got to hang on to for your kids, etc. But in grieving with the parents impacted, that almost makes it worse. It's just so bizarre and awful.

I’ve heard that story and that the deceased had hit on the killer’s girlfriend.

I cant imagine being those parents, not sure I;m strong enough to do the right thing.

I would be out for revenge.

Well, Frisco is now 200,000 people, doubled since we moved here in 2011. That’s certainly going to bring more crime but it’s almost all non violent, petty crime. Murder is still almost unheard of here.

Yeah - thinking of those “gang-related” stuff over in little elm recently.

I didn’t really follow up on any of it so no clue what I’m talking about. Just seems like a lot of negative stuff lately.

for those keeping track.

there’s this story.
the story of the white autistic student being beaten in the classroom (fractured skull)
there’s also the story of the white student beaten unconscious while the teacher’s were too busy holding their coffee cups to intervene.

all in about the last week / two weeks?

Because the killer is a moron.

Violence is the last option. I don't understand taking a life for something so minor.

Well, Little Elm isn’t Frisco. It’s Frisco adjacent and has some great areas but it’s not Frisco. Just the entry price to live in Frisco eliminates a lot of that stuff. Frisco doesn’t have the apartments and rentals that are there. And when you hear about things happening in Little Elm, it’s usually in a very concentrated area, rarely impacting other areas of the city.

My husband is traveling and when I told him that I heard the stabber had moved here from Baron Rouge, he just responded with, “Makes sense.” I spit out my coffee.

also, the Father is a bigger better man than me. Already saying he forgives Karmenjello. I’d want to stomp out his entire family’s existence.

That would be too soon for me, if ever. But yeah, he's a bigger man than me for sure.

No but now I’m curious. There’s a very large group of us from Louisiana that get together for all lsu football games and to boil crawfish.
