Friends Living in the same Apartment Complexes/Housing Neighborhoods

After college, what is the largest number of friends that you've lived with in the same apartment building/complex or housing neighborhood?
A few years after college there were 8 of my friends (5 guys, 3 girls) that we all got a 1 or 2 bdr apartment all in the same complex in Uptown Dallas for 2 years. It was amazing. It made going out regularly so easy, whether to go watch a game at a sports bar or live, or head to dinner or drinks all up & down McKinney Ave. We played kickball & sand vball together every season.
But then, of course, everyone grew up & got wifed/husbanded or moved for work.
The other day we were all talking in our fantasy league about how awesome it would be to be in the same city again, even the same neighborhood, for our kids to all hang out & wives do stuff together so we could.
Do any OTers live this way? If so, how is it?

After college it’s hard to maintain friends, everyone goes their separate ways....only gets wors after marriage/kids. You got lucky, just try to keep in touch if you value them

Group orgies had never been so easy to organize

Fact.
I think I'll just win that next $1B lotto. Then just buy my friends all houses on our own island. That'll work.

Hmmm.... we might know each other. My neighbor after college was an LSU grad and introduced me to all his friends. We all eventually became friends which made for epic LSU A&M smack talk and gumbo making contests. I miss those days

I know one person who lived there. She had red hair. Most of them worked at Fred’s in college and got close that way. Heard lots of crazy stories from that place.
We hung out at a lot of those places you mentioned and are mostly 35-40

Is 1 of them a chiropractor now? Different group, but there were about 35 similar ages LSU people in our area during that time of 2007-2009.

A few years after I graduated college I ended up living in Scottsdale. There were 3 guys and 2 girls from my college, 2000 miles away, who were all living within 2 miles of each other.
We were all friends in college so having that common bond in a new setting made for a great time. We all worked in different fields and had our own social circles but things always gravitated towards our southern nucleus.
It was a memorable year, treading those exciting yet uncertain waters of young adulthood in a new town, but with the safety net of old friends.
One of the most cherished memories was being able to watch our school march through the NCAA tournament and win it all in one of the most dominant runs in history, after being teased with a handful of final four appearances but no championships while we were all in school.
Needless to say it was fleeting as one by one we ended up moving away, following different career paths and relationships.
Even though it wasn't my childhood, that time reminds of the quote from an old tv show:

“Growing up happens in a heartbeat. Once day you're in diapers, the next day you're gone. But the memories of childhood stay with you for the long haul. I remember a place, a town, a house, like a lot of houses. A yard like a lot of other yards. On a street like a lot of other streets. And the thing is, after all these years, I still look back... with wonder.

Lived in a downtown Houston apartment in my late 20s/early 30s and while we didn’t move in as friends, ended up having a great core group in the complex over a couple years. Prob 8-10 guys with random chicks mixed in. It was a blast. Would all go to games together, the neighborhood bar, etc.
The only downside is you couldn’t get away. You’d see everybody, everywhere you went. lol.
