Dear OT:
One of my best friends (best man in my wedding) for life was going through a difficult time with his wife of 25 years. She started banging his business partner, moved out, working for the other dude, going on trips on and on.
He'd call me daily fussing/squalling and telling me all the crap she did, the lies, cheating, whoring around. Then as soon as she called he would go running over to her house for sex when the new guy was gone. He went from husband to the other man in his own marriage, I got tired of hearing about it.
One night I got full of brown water and on a group text let him have it about what a bitch/pussy he was being, that the new guy was knocking the bottom out of it and had a bigger dick than him.
Now we haven't talked in 4-5 months, he says I'm a "Piece of shite".
Would you try to amend this or let time heal it ?
I feel bad about breaking his trust

Well that’s not how I would have handled that with my best friend for starters. A group text after you’ve been drinking? Come on man. Definitely try and heal the relationship unless your a huge piece of shite. The mans wife cheated on him for gods sake.
