As I see it not after 10 days and sure as hell not after 60.
Reread the documents posted.
Contracts are void after those points of not funded. The truck isn't actually his.

Says who? Unless they were running a special on financing, you've made a payment within 60 days.

If the loan isn't funded, you don't own it though. Per the contract you either bring it back or pay it in full.
If it's been 60 days and he hasn't made a payment, he has no right to it
Fair enough.
Did the OP even say if his friend made a payment on it? I am going to assume no.

Mine doesn't say that.

Without knowing if the loan in the OP was funded or not, we can't say if he's made a payment or not.

The one you posted says if it's not funded within 10 days, you have to bring the vehicle back or pay the full amount of the purchase agreement.

Who would he be making the payments to if the loan hasn't been funded? Payments straight to the dealership?

Which is the opposite of voiding the contract

Yeah voiding was the wrong word. It would technically be fulfilled even by bringing it back. Just not the fulfilment the buyer would like.

He posts a lot of reasonable things so this basically is owning yourself again.

That's not going to change anything for the purposes of this thread. Something shady is happening for this to be taking place 2 months after the sale.

That's demonstrably false just in this thread. How many times you plan on looking dumb in this thread?

My money is on new clerical staff and a new finance guy.
All it takes are two departments not doing their jobs.
In my case, the finance guy tried to hold 2 points of rate and held 2.2. Voided contract.
Resigned at lower price on buy rate with a free warranty.
