Yeah, pretty much upgraded the two original Mod areas before they combined them to High.

you see this setup as a “bad” day or is this now looking like a “historic” day?

Anytime you see this large of a severe area and high risk areas it has the potential to be historic. It may not happen but the potential is there

First PDS watch of the day just went out. Probably won't be the last.

For those of you who put value in TorCon, north MS and SW TN is now at a 9 with a 7 for the surrounding areas.

That part of iowa seems to get it pretty frequently. Went to Cedar Rapids for a cross country meet in 2020 or 21 (cant remember which trip it was) not long after a derecho even and shite was rough.

That was the 2020 derecho, one of the costliest non-hurricane storms we've seen in a long while.

i was there in late 2021 and it was still pretty fricked in areas.

I was in a Derecho that rolled through Ohio many years ago - the wind collapsed a building wall next to the bank i was working at, took the roof off of the Drive Through and just generally was rough.

never want to again. shift was scary

My sister has in-laws in Corinth. She’s calling them right now. As of this moment, I’m still in a seven rating. Schools are letting out at two.

We’ll see how it pans out, but it looks like SPC will have nailed this thing almost a week out.

Lows love to track that way. Remember a few triple points producing tornados over the years.

That's like predicting 9 inches of snow for one place and 3 inches of snow 20 miles away

I don't think it will anymore than it already has. That's still just splitting hairs, though. The trend you want to hold is it quickly lining out down that way. It is right now, but it is a little more broken than you'd like to see.

First High Risk day in 2 years. SPC has gotten very good at this, so buckle up.
