I can’t tell if it’s really gonna be that bad for us here in north MS or if it’s a lot more caution since the rolling fork/amory tornado from last week but there is def a heightened sense of urgency and danger from local meteorological people this afternoon

We just got back from serving food in Amory. Another group relieved us but looks like we might have to go back again.

My nerves are shot already. Getting terrible pictures from friends. This hit very populated and nice areas of Little Rock. Half my texts won’t go through to friends living in neighborhoods impacted.

Thank goodness he didn't start a bonfire.

My friend’s wife works at UAMS and says they have activated “Mass Casualty Level 3 Protocol”

My mom is a nurse in Little Rock and said she has been placed on standby to come in and help treat the injured

Yeah my best friend is one of the trauma directors at UAMS but she is still locked down at our kid’s school in the safe room. I knew this was going to hit at school pick up/carpool time. Our school doesn’t have buses so it’s all carpool. It went right across the interstate by our school. Anyway, she’s probably getting called to work at UAMS once she’s able to leave the safe room. I wanted my kids home

When I got there he said carpool line was being stopped and all parents had to come into the safe room. They let me grab the kids out of their Mass.

The carpool line is a mess but we have 4 pick up spots so it’s not totally awful.
