I got a ticket a week in law school--city of new Orleans. I never paid a one and never heard a peep. Of course Katrina may have had a hand in that.
On second thought, I graduated 4 years before the storm and never anything pre.

I have known people that have gotten booted now.
Speaking of... If I go and a get a specialty plate, I will be in the clear right? Well as far as no risk of booting.

The vehicle goes on the boot list at 3 delinquent tickets and/or $300 of fines.

I just got a ticket for violating traffic code "Not Parked Within Marked Space" in NOLA. The only thing that crossed over the marked line was my hitch/set of truck nuts.
Is it worth fighting over or simply pay the fine?
How much is the fine?

But if you have a new license plate number, are they able to find out to boot it.

Um....I got the same exact thing and it was $20
Posted on 7/28/15 at 1:12 pm to Paul Allen
Yup, went up to $40 after a month. Pretty much all regular parking tickets in the city are $20 (or at least all of the ones I've seen)

It's the end of the month so they are out for blood. I have a ticket I do need to contest. Got ticketed for parking in front of my house in my driveway, which is parallel to the street.

I will give you the same legal advice I give all of my internet-based clients:
Quit posting about it and talk to a real lawyer.
