Did the system that sat around in the gulf a couple of days ago cool water temps enough to have an impact?

Anyone in the Lafayette/Broussard/Youngsville area remember that severe weather that came in early May? Never seen weather that intense. I’m not sweating this potential Cat 2 that will move swiftly through.

2 in a week, trees down all over our neighborhood. My daughter (3 years old) asks if we're going to lose electricity every time there is a thunderstorm now because of those 2

Does anyone have a contact in Houma or Lafayette where we (Here to Serve) could setup?

Usually use church parking lots but what we need is enough room for four 25' trailers. Need running water but we provide everything else. And need 2 entrances to parking lot so we can deliver food in "drive thru" manner.

If you dont want to post contacts publicly you can email me at alphaandomegatd@gmail.com

I run the Hooters on MLK and have a big size lot. I'll send you an email

Convection might be tugging the circulation to the NW.

10am update was 23.0 N 94.9W, but this recon pass was 23.5N, 95.6W

Not a huge deal but the storm center still isn’t super clear.

Looking at current buoy data many surface temps are 2-4 degrees below Sept Averages.

This has the feeling of a Wednesday through Friday wipe for governmental agencies.

The Center of Circulation will probably keep jumping around, hopefully by tonight it’s get more stable, so we can get a better idea.

My wife was on the call for ascension. Decisions will be made today after the 4p update. Tomorrow could be off or half day.
