I've seen that dude posting on the old wwltv weather forum since before he was a pro meteorologist, he's always been immature. I thought actually getting his degree would calm him down, looks like it hasn't.

I know the inestimable Dr. Cowan doesn’t understand the proper use of the word “congealed “.

The plants typically contract with a private company. Yeah, they have access to good forecasts.

I’ve trusted the guys here better than our companies contract meteorologist. He kept insisting Ida would cross west of Baton Rouge and not track east at the last minute.

So you’re expecting all the models to cave towards the Euro the next day or so?

The big boys use StormGeo. Those guys know their shite and have access to a lot of data analytics that work in tandem with modeling like the Euro and GFS.

I don't think he's being hysterical.

There's a lot of unknowns but someone on the LA coast is probably going to be dealing with a named storm of some kind in 3 or so days.

So much talk of how this season has been a "bust"... the mets might need to scream a bit to get everyone's attention.

Sunday is grocery day so we are good for a week. Might go get some other things tomorrow.

Went tonight and gassed up both cars.
