But it wasn’t. The cone in discussion is 190 miles wide. And the width of the eye only backfires against you too cause it’s the only saving grace that kept it close to the cone. NHC shite the bed. I’m sorry it angers y’all so much but I’m not going to apologize for it. I’ve presented facts that has the eye nearly entirely out their 48 hr path.

I'm not into moving goalposts. 65% of the eye at landfall was out the cone.

you're the one moving goalposts.

the NHC website clearly says "center of storm" not "majority of the eye" (because eyes can be very asymmetrical when dealing with wind shear)

the center of the storm was completely inside the 48 hour cone at landfall.
this eye being lopsided to the east doesn't change where the center of the storm is.

the center of the storm spent very little time outside the cone from 48 hours prior.

yes it did go outside the cone twice momentarily because of unpredicted due east turns.
but the vast majority of the track kept the center of the storm within their cone.

This isn't an opinion. The center of circulation of the the storm was inside the cone - that is a fact

correct, you just don't know how to look at it.

the center of the storm was not the center of the eye.

Then trying to find semantics of how they deem correct of how they are arguably barely inside the 190 mile cone

In Houma? What part?

Entergy itself is already restoring some people.

Are you the same guy who said last night that the storm didn't make landfall, or "hit", southwest of Morgan City?

The cone has almost the entire Louisiana coastline AND some of Texas and thru somehow missed on the small sliver of Louisiana left.

I mean you almost have to TRY to miss it that bad

I’m in Geismar off 74 near Bluff and I think we’re close to getting it back. 73 came back up an hour or so ago. It won’t be much longer.

As hard as we try, we still can’t control or predict the weather, not 100%. You’d like to think “they” have things under control, but they don’t. And if the govt and big corporations don’t have control, what hope is there for us?
