Once the center formed and the track came out for Intracoastal City-ish there shouldn’t have been anyone impacted today who didn’t start getting prepared. A hurricane into Vermilion Bay is going to impact all of SE LA one way or another. And if it moved east of you and you weren’t impacted.. then you’re lucky and be thankful.

Maybe not for you. There’s flooding going on in Morgan City right now. Many houses will need to be gutted.

At this point, if you live south of I10 and there’s a storm making landfall in LA, just assume you need to be prepared for it and it it goes away from you, be happy Everybody need to quit getting so hung up on the fricking cone and use common sense
How much is the NHS paying you to post this?

I don’t have access to a good radar at the moment, what are we looking like in Belle Chasse right now? Getting pretty serious, is it gonna get worse?

Lot of arguing about semantics
2 things can be true
1. The cone didn't change today
2. The New Orleans area and Northshore are going to be hit worse than expected this morning.
People do with all that what you want

Pretty gusty off 42 in Oak Grove but still have power thankfully. I do live in a new neighborhood, so no overhead power lines or trees that I need to worry about
