Entergy map of EBR is getting more speckled.
Just had a transformer blow really close to me in capital heights, but it looks like all my street is still on.

It hasn't let in MC yet. Idc what the radar shows it's still raining sideways and winds still gusting.
Sounds like the Hammond radar isn’t doing too well with the western side of the storm

Weather Channel's Paul Goodloe having a hard standing being 6'4", 250lbs, yet his glasses don't move an inch, and right as they went to a commercial break, some woman just walked by walking completely normal.

How is the weather down there? Radar seems to be easing up a bit.

I live in Houston and have never been through a hurricane. I stepped out on the street during Beryl just to experience. To be honest, if you're in a clear area without trees nearby, you can ride out a Cat 1 or Cat 2 outside.

They’ve been riding that GRAF model all day and it’s been a big disappointment. It showed the eye going over or under New Orleans and the storm going almost straight due east. It hasn’t even been close to that all day
Actually, I think they did a really good job talking about the multiple scenarios. They’ve been saying for a while now that it would be between BR and NO. They never said NO was going to take a direct hit. They highlighted the various models

I agree with this. However the power outage after wards can be brutal
