Per Fox 8 their weather station in Houma never got a higher gust than 46mph. Berwick which got the NW part of that large eye got a gust of 61. Can that be accurate? Seems low.

yes, prior to it developing really, so it was a premature advisory but necessary to warn people in the potential path. since it developed a center, it has never been slated for lake charles

I think it’s true. You can get weather station info on the radar. Highest I’ve seen was 51 in Gibson.
