Where was this
On the live Fox 8 broadcast about 15 minutes ago when Lee Zurik seemed very skeptical about Bruce’s constant eastern push. Katz then went to the screen and said “we may have another Northern jog, then East, then North and then East and by then we’re in Houma.”

We're going to have to go to the video booth for official review if the eye gets bigger than the fricking cone.

What are we thinking about that eastern jog - is it a wobble or an actual turn?
Posted on 9/11/24 at 2:39 pm to 50_Tiger
still moving NE on radar imo

The eye is so big and elongated tough to pick a center

If you’re watching WAFB it appears Baton Rouge will get 2” of rain and 30 mph winds while New Orleans will get 8-9” and 70 mph winds

What time is the projected landfall? In Youngsville and the wind just started to blow some.

so when is it supposed to start getting bad in Dutchtown?
Posted on 9/11/24 at 2:43 pm to chRxis
I don’t know that it’s ever going to get “bad” in AP. At least not relative to any of the recent storms.
