Fox 8 was the best in NOLA when I left a couple years ago.

Surprised to see them dick-riding one model, especially at this point when the path is "follow the direction its currently going to land"

The news asking viewers to send in photos is such a joke. When people are going through it, nobody is thinking, “hold on, let me take a quick pic to send in to WAFB…”

Maybe not, but a whole bunch of them think, "Hold on, let me take a quick pic/video to post on social media."

There has been a whole industry built around it.

It's so sweet how all you Baton Rouge folks think your power grid is fragile. Move to Houston and we can show you what fragile really is.
I lost power 4 times in June and July because of afternoon showers

For Ida I was out of power for 6 days

Why do we have to argue who has it worse? The storm is coming to Louisiana.

Storm2k also trying to make the claim it's wrapping up. I don't buy it. The dry air is wreaking havoc on the east side. I think some returns you're starting to see on radar is just the lower echo tops coming into radar range so the beam finally isn't overshooting them.

The most interesting thing is the lightning that has been pretty steady in the SW quad. The winds in that band are at least notable.

They have been showing that since yesterday. It’s an outlier and Fox 8 weather should be embarrassed by the sensationalism

Problem is people don’t know this there is nobody to call them out after it’s over

Yup.

Thats what Im thinking.

Last vortex I saw had the eyewall open. We have people arguing its wrapping up as it hits the wall of shear and the damn east side is dry?

Been wrong before, but thats some dubious logic.

Because they're all jerking off with a dildo in their arse over the idea of a hurricane hitting NOLA head on.

I agree, I think the dry air is making its way to the center rather than the eye clearing out.

Clown show.

Never underestimate the amount of people who want to be able to say their photos or social media posts were on TV or a TV station's social media channels. The world in which we live today.

I don't live in New Orleans, but what I've seen online, Channel 8 kicks everyone else's arse. Sorry if the Tigerdroppings.com Chief Hurricane Forcasters got their feathers ruffled.
