Great post! I’m now thankful that the system last week dumped all that rain offshore and really cooled the northern Gulf.

I have no idea how people can drink at a time like this. My nerves stay in overdrive.

Great post. Way more informative and useful than any of the faggotry you'll find on TWC or the local networks.

I know man. I’m a pussy. I have a lot on my plate with a wife and 4 kids to look after. Like I’ve said probably 4 times in this thread, I’m not scared of the wind/rain from this storm, but I have an irrational fear of tornados…

But we are gonna ride this out and probably laugh about it in the end but as of right now, my nerves are shot.

And thank god for TD and the guys who spend their time giving us whatever info they can. You never hear anything about plaquemines parish on the news when it comes to this. shite, the lower end of our parish was completely wiped out for Katrina and I can’t ever remember hearing shite about Port Sulphur, BV, Buras, etc.. so thank you very much to y’all who give us what you can

After that lingering system last week, I was hoping for some sort of Lilli type effect. Hopefully it comes to fruition

A now deceased friend told me that he filled his boat with fish in Lake Borgne before Camille until a shark longer than his 18 foot boat showed up and swam by.

Ah well if I was down that way, maybe I'd be a Lil more stressed out.

But I'd still be drinking. It's a good primal feeling to stand in the middle of the yard in the dark in short pants and white boots drunk and dodging tree limbs trying to start a clapped out generator so your beer doesn't get hot.
