Can everyone please keep the comments related to the hurricane and stop bitching and moaning about school closures and whatnot?

I know some of y'all just love being antagonistic and see your thoughts on the internet, but many more people actually use these threads for information.

Having to muddle through trolls and bullshite is tiresome for all.

Hope everyone stays safe.

slidell was at 60-70% chance of tropical storm force winds with the 7am update. I can only imagine that's gone up with the eastern shift in the 10am update
Some tropical storm force winds does not equal "pounded." The hyperbole of some in this thread is ridiculous.

Ha, she was sittin' on her arse last night.

Sorry, I won't post critiques of the nhc forecasts/discussions.

Why would they poison linemen????? Strichnin or Cyanide....or Ricin?

All joking aside if they keep recalcululating the spaghetti track this thing could cross the mouth of the River and head for Gulfport Biloxi ?

Depending on what this damn storm does I’ll just add a for sale portion to my post. House and business for sale real cheap, the coordinates will make it easier for my realtor.
Plus I was already told by my son that he and his buddies are cooking a jambalaya tonight, so come over the more the merrier. Just bring your own alcohol, water and toilet paper.

Easy there, moron. No one is predicting doom. People just don't want to lose power, which can happen with storms less powerful than a Cat 1.

I love how these threads always devolve into posters arguing over semantics and things that really don’t matter.
