Spray the with Copper Fungicide or Copper Soap. It will dry up the lichen and it will eventually fall off. You will need to spray multiple times at 7–10-day intervals.

Like mentioned above they are stressed from something and that is why the lichen is growing.
A few friends from Tennessee and I are staying at the Islander Lodge Labor Day weekend. A couple of the guys have never been saltwater fishing and are looking for recommendations on gear and lures to get. We plan on mostly wade fishing the islands as we will just have the rented skiffs to get around in.

It’s more than likely Lace Bugs damage. Cut them back and then spray with Insecticidal Soap, All Season Oil or a systemic insecticide.
Mine did it to me this afternoon for about 45 minutes. It’s a brand new iPhone 16 and I still don’t know why or how I got it back working. ?????
I will go this route next time I have to redo them. I just need to find someone in Lafourche Parish that does a decent job.
Yes I do have a spar varnish on it. It’s sanded down every year and reapplied. I’ll look into TWP sealer this time.
Everything is going to get painted if I keep having to mess with this every year.
Looking for recommendations of the best stain and sealer for my wooden front door and composite porch posts. This will be the fifth time refinishing them in the six years since I built. Unfortunately, they are in the sun all afternoon long.

I never use my fireplace because the ventless logs stink. At first I thought I just had to burn the chemical smell off but 6 years later it’s still bad.
I just started season 1 today. I’m on episode 4 and really enjoying it so far.
Depending on what this damn storm does I’ll just add a for sale portion to my post. House and business for sale real cheap, the coordinates will make it easier for my realtor.
Plus I was already told by my son that he and his buddies are cooking a jambalaya tonight, so come over the more the merrier. Just bring your own alcohol, water and toilet paper.
I know that feeling all too well. This is Ida’s official track. The pond it’s crossing is at my business and the second house to the right is mine. Good luck.
My son is having this problem also. Thought it was because he was in Grand Isle but it’s still happening and he’s home. I’m going to rest it this evening and see if that works.
Update:

Harly had plead guilty to the theft of my son’s boat around a month ago. He was given supervised probation where he had to meet with an officer once a month and pay me $1000.00 a month until I was paid in full. He was given 48 hours to check in at the probation office and of course he missed it and was subsequently arrested again on a probation violation.
He was in court today and had his probation revoked and sentenced to serve at least 2 years if the 10 he was given.
Now let’s hope one of the other two crackheads can keep their arse out of jail so I can at least get some restitution.
Could be Spider Mites. Spray them with Rose Shield. It’s an insecticide and fungicide in one.
This is the fourth time he’s been arrested since they got him for our boat. He’s been having the ankle monitor the whole time. He is a damn idiot.

From what I was told he is in jail until court now. His mom has nothing left to put up and the bail bonds people weren’t going to get him out anyway.

The first main court date is March 7. I’ll keep everyone posted what happens.
This is what I would call tube and torpedo lures. Let us know how it goes. May have to add that to my lakes to tryout.

That’s awesome. My buddy that I’m going with was told last week that they have been catching the 30 per person limit daily. All of them over 2 pounds. If this is true I will be in fishing heaven. Lol
Weather is looking to be really nice.
It’s going to all our first time fishing there. We will mostly be fishing for Crappie but will try for bass as well.

Crappie fishing Lake Guntersville.

Making a Crappie trip this Thursday to Sunday. Any advice on what they are bitting on this time of year?
