Graf seems to have a good handle similar to the HRRR for rain events within 48 hours. It’s seems to keep the heaviest rains offshore thankfully

Those totals for SW LA and SE TX are already way off. Been pissing rain here all day. Probably already got over 3 inches.

For the last few rain events graf has outperformed hrrr - for Beryl also it was better

12z Euro coming in hot all of a sudden. Widespread 8 inches from the TX/LA border to the Basin. 20+ inches off the Vermillion/Cameron coast

i slandered the ICON during beryl calling it the boost mobile of weather models, then it turned out to be spot on with it. I am now inclined to pay a little more attention to it.

Yep it feels like every year one model shines more than the others. This year it seems like ICON has shined the best. It’s been showing this scenario for atleast 5 days. Then not til the last 24 hours did the other models start showing this scenario

Yeah, seems Bay of Campeche is going to screw us(Northern Gulf Coast)

It’s going to be all about timing. Shear might set in and keep the gulf unsettled. Fronts should start coming down and hopefully cleaning anything that would form for the next couple months.
