is it safe to assume the storm will end up east of this given the last 12-24 hr trend and the fact that they tend to come in east of projections (asking bc reside in nola)

Tracks only change at 4am, 10am, 4pm, 10pm advisories

Power company is going to regret not proactively cutting down all rhe dead pines from last year's drought

we had hurricane force gusts in the BR area during the spring severe weather earlier this year

and well, it knocked power out on a large percentage of the area

There's a decent chance this will be a Mississippi storm. The weather nerds won't like that prediction because they worship the models but that is what my gut is saying.

That's not how this works...

PR person will regret it and face the backlash

Workers will be getting more overtime than they want

PSC will be getting some fat envelopes

Power company execs will "pass along" the recovery costs to consumers with the PSC's blessing (see above) and collect a bonus.

Just another hurricane season.
