let's just start saying "Some Lives Matter"

I already know your argument, there a more whites than blacks and therefore there were more blacks killed by police per capita.
However, crimes committed by blacks far exceeded those committed by whites.
You actually bolstered my point

By continuing to use “All Lives Matter” to drown out the cry of “Black Lives Matter,” the real problems the movement is trying to address are being ignored.

People have gone off the ideological deep end. I have so sympathy for these idiots.

bullshite assumption.
ALM INCLUDES black lives. And Latinos. And Asians. And whites.
When's the last time this year a Hispanic falling victim to police brutality was national news?
I'll wait.

The so called BLM "movement" has no leadership, it has no plan to accomplish whatever goals it may have (even though they don't actually have any goals that I've heard of in the media). Black Lives Matter is nothing more than a fricking hashtag and an excuse for black people to commit acts of violence against police officers.
If anything or anyone is drowning out the "cry" of BLM, it's the people killing police officers for no reason; that's not a movement, it's called domestic terrorism.

An ALM rally with thousands of people from all races would be a beautiful thing to see

Also, for those of you who don't know, on April 22, 2010, my home was invaded by five black males ranging in age from 13-19. I was shot five times and my best friend was killed.
I hold no ill will toward the black community, and I believe that black lives matter; but does that mean that my life doesn't matter? That the life of my murdered friend doesn't matter?
We need to unite as a country, we need to unite as races, ehnicities, religions, political views, etc. Until that happens, nothing will change. The BLM Movement is essentially trying to segregate the country.

Oh I'm not defending the cop killings or saying that somebody's life is mote important than another ...
I am saying that when a group of people screams out to you that they feel like there are at risk, their lives less important, that they feel marginalized and vulnerable, and the overwhelming response is to silence and vilify those voices - that we have serious problems

When Trayvon Martin was killed from the day he died to Zimmermans trial was a little over 500 days. In that time span there were over 11,000 black on black crimes committed. Yes, black lives matter. Just not to black people.

I'm not saying that they don't have a right to protest... peacefully.
It's the radicalization and extremism that is taking over the BLM movement and the ever-increasing violence that people are using the movement as validation for.

This thread led to a productive discussion, which is kind of the point of message board.

Not really true. All lives matter should be the theme. By using BLM they are intentionally trying to segregate.
