FOX 8 Announces Lee Zurik joining Grey Media
Lee Zurik, the award-winning anchor and investigative reporter for WVUE-TV FOX 8, will step into a new role as Senior Vice President of News Strategy and Innovation for Gray Media, the station’s parent company.
Effective Oct. 10, Zurik will leave his current position at WVUE to focus on his responsibilities with Gray following his tenure as the media company’s chief of investigations.
Zurik, a two-time Peabody Award recipient, will continue to anchor the weekday investigative program InvestigateTV+, which airs at 1 p.m. on WVUE and contribute as a FOX 8 analyst.
His investigative work has earned him numerous prestigious awards, including three duPont-Columbia Awards and twelve National Edward R. Murrow Awards.
In addition to Snell’s new role, beloved former anchor Lucy Bustamante will return to WVUE’s morning lineup starting Oct. 21.
Bustamante will join the top-rated morning show alongside Kelsey Davis, Rob Krieger, Zack Fradella, Kristi Coleman, Josh Roberson, and Olivia Vidal.
“There’s something very special about coming home but returning to work with a team as important to our community as this one is incredible,” said Bustamante. “It reminds me that this is a city where true journalism is not only still appreciated but necessary.”

These folks in media all believe that they are highly important.

At least he didn’t turn into a pedo like Mike Longman, or a Wife killer like Vince Marinello, or an incoherent slob like Hap Glaudi or Buddy D.

I knew a guy who dressed up like Marinello for Halloween. Mask, toupee, kids bike and toy gun

Just like when Garland Robinette got hired by Freeport-McMoran, Zurik went from fighting the man to working for the man.

Knew Rob Krieger quite well at LSU. That is all I’m gonna say about that.

Snell moving from morning to evening kinda sucks, he was really good on the morning broadcast. I guess we’ll be seeing more of that assclown Roberson.

Why pick on Mr.Hap or Buddy? Buddy D was probably one of the best sports guys around. He straight up reported things....and the man knew horse racing

BuddyD and Hap are the only 2 radio people that you would need subtitles for on the radio. I give them this each had their own vocabulary.

This is what Lee does best anyway. He’s not a great personality on the news but he is a great investigator.
Lucy is a much better personality on the news. And better looking
