Congrats to you sir.

1989 days. Keep going. One day at a time

One of my best buddies is on 3 months, and I've never seen him healthier or happier.

Congratulations man. That’s a great accomplishment.

If you have the means, I’d buy the person who stood by you a present so y’all can celebrate together

21 years here - not a drop of alcohol, not a single hit

No telling how much I've saved. Life has been far better.

Congratulations! I have a loved one who has been a drug addict for many years, and it is encouraging to hear stories like yours. I wish you all the best.

Four years sober today

Good work. I frequently drink scotch but never more than one or two at the most and never more than once or twice a week. But I know from first-hand family experience that if it becomes difficult to regulate, sober is the only way forward. And it ain't easy. Respect.

I feel like the next step should be to have a couple of beers watching a game and then stop.

I’ve never liked the whole AA “powerless” schtick - avoiding any alcohol like a vampire with holy water, giving it too much power.

The true liberation is to take power over it - drink in moderation.
