That being said, I lobbied our float builder to put quarter round mounding along the float rails so dumb arse riders can’t set stuff on that edge.

Some Bacchus floats have bartenders so the liquor and wine bottles never leave the center.

thrown bottle or Yeti cup it’s actually an object that the dumb arse rider set on the edge of the float and it fell off.

or a parade goer grabs it. I set my beer on the edge for 2 seconds the other day, turned around to grab a bead, and it was gone. I looked toward the back of our float, and a college kid was chugging it down. Still had my coozie attached.

Zulu

One of the most inefficiently run parades and they’ll never be reprimanded.

Funniest part is the rider may be white. A LOT of white people are in Zulu.

I don't think I would take my 4 year old kid to a parade anyhow, but that's just me.

That's grown-up stuff.

What grown up actually wants the stuff that comes off of the floats? Plastic beads, cheap toys, stuffed animals, bouncy balls, candy.... The event is actually tailored towards children but is often ruined because of the combination of people that can't spend time with family/friends without alcohol being involved, and the people that can't control themselves around alcohol.

The entire country is.

shite, Kentucky likes to elect people that sleep with their dead wife's friend. That's pretty trashy.

Stay home next year? It’s a risk. Nola . com has an article showing the cut. All parades should throw nothing next year. Ride and wave.

Crickets from her and JP… They released statements on other parade issues before the krewe was done rolling.

How is this possible? You are not allowed to drink on the floats and if there is one krewe that takes the rules seriously, it’s Zulu.

Many of their members have been very vocal about ladders and tents along Napoleon and St. Charles, and people claiming spots too early.

I refuse to believe that an organization full of people complaining about “chads” would break any rules.

one time in Shenzhen we were doing some heavy drinking around Chinese New Year and a few friends decided to take the baiju party up to the roof of my building, probably about 60 or so floors about the ground. One of my coworkers proceeded to take a full, unopened , 32 oz glass bottle of Harbin beer and launch it off of the side of the building. We were all shocked and waited in silence until like 3-4 seconds later we heard it explode on the concrete. I never looked at that guy the same again. What a psycho.
