But holy crap how stupid do you have to be to not vaccinate your kids. Their stupidity is killing other people's kids.

The issue with vaccines is they really only work if everyone has one or that is my understanding correct me if wrong. So even if your kid is vaccinate if somebody else's is not and they come down with something, you can still get it.
Alternatively, 4-months may be too young for vaccines.

Why is a 4 month old at daycare. It says the baby became sick just 2 days after being vaccinated. Why is an unvaccinated child at daycare? You want to feel sorry for people but people make it difficult.

I'm usually as free market, private rights you should have the free will to do whatever you want without the government saying anything about it as anybody you will meet.
But there should be some punishment for not vaccinating your kids because at the end of the day it hurts other people. Only argument against it is that it could be a slippery slope.

Vaccination is like having a shield in ancient warfare. It protects you, but if everyone has one you can form a wall, greatly increasing protection for everyone.

The concept is herd immunity.
Nothing is perfect and even in situations where immunizations are given, the immune system may not work as robustly and the response to the vaccine may not be sufficient.
The idea of herd immunity is that, if everyone is vaccinated, those who either cannot be vaccinated or have an insufficient response to the vaccine will have their infection risk reduced significantly since the infection is unable to move freely around the population.

I’m fine with other people being government lemmings, but my kids aren’t getting a single vaccine. They haven’t been sick enough to miss a single day of school. No way I’m putting them at risk.
