Oh look. More "oh, my bad, we won't do it again" and "we're writing new policies now that we got busted"
what is this now, the 3rd time this has been used? 4th?

Pretty sure it is fourth...
OT policies, residency policies for board members, ethics policies, and cruises.

i'm somewhat curious what it would take to get standing to sue them under RICO
Posted on 6/8/17 at 9:40 am to SlowFlowPro
Isn't RICO a federal charge?
I guess Landry needs to bring it to Sessions' attention.

So generically written it could be used against both sides.

when I thought this could not get more corrupt
This shite show circus gets more and more corrupt everyday. When are people going to loose their jobs over this?
How much money is given to the COA annually though taxes and fed vs how much is actually paid out to the seniors who are in their system? This has to be a disproportionately low number with all their corrupt spending.

it's not even to get real damages. it's just to get to discovery. somebody has to figure out a way to sue the COA go get that sweet, sweet discovery process going

Do you think there is any chance Tasha could end up facing charges?
Posted on 6/8/17 at 9:50 am to GreatLakesTiger24
criminal? possible? yes
Jeff Landry is AG and this would be quite the feather in his cap before he runs for Governor
JBE is basically defending TAC and the EBRCOA and taking them down would be a major "frick you" to the DEM machine in SELA

ah you see this is the magic of the COA
the LSP is a state entity, bound to regulation of state bodies
the COA is a private entity (who receives a ton of public money), so its outside many of these laws

I seriously hope so....She's also a pawn put in this job because of her connections, and takes orders from higher ups, as she is way too stupid for the position.

I'm honestly surprised Landry hasn't jumped on this yet

i have to imagine they have a team working on this and are doing it like a federal case...air tight with no chance of losing

How is the leadership of the COA determined? Appointed? Elected? Etc.

Someone had some revealing photos of someone else cheating on their spouse. The first someone told the second someone that if they didn't put Dytarsha Amar mfing Clark in charge that they would publish the photos for all to see.
In other words, like most other prominent appointed positions in BR, it was given to some idiot because of who their "connections"

Board Member C. Denise Marcelle, who is new, said it cost about $2,600 for four employees to go.
I don't give a frick if it was $24 for all four to go. It needs to be paid back.
But let's see the expense report for this trip.
