Maybe she had it on safety?
Does it have a thumb safety next to the trigger? I only use revolvers, so I’m not familiar.

Dead X link, at least for me. Would love to see the female officer's cam footage. Sounds pathetic.

I saw an interesting thing at 5:10 - 5:17. Looks like the female officer may have managed to release the magazine from her sidearm during the struggle and it is on the ground near the curb. I went back and watched the earlier part, and it could be what I heard at one point. Many PDs issue their sidearms with a magazine disconnect safety just for this reason. If she dropped the magazine early in the struggle, this might answer why there was not a shot for the rest of that struggle.
Sadly, I did not hear her put that important bit of information out during the event. That might have changed how the originating officer handled the rest of the confrontation. OTOH, he could not be allowed to use the patrol car as a weapon either.

She begged for her life a few times and then hid behind the postal vehicle, so either she loaded one in chamber before pointing gun at him or more than likely she did not release the magazine on purpose and may not have even released it happened.

Solid analysis, my brother. That explains it.

It doesn't and P320 has a history of going off randomly, holstered or not. To the point some officers aren't allowed to carry them anymore.
It's a shite gun.

No, it is better than that. The gun never went off because she did not have a round chambered.
She is currently out IOD (Injured on Duty) due to mental health and there has been chatter she will medically retire due to mental health...

Exactly. There's still a round in the chamber if the mag is dropped (unless she never chanbered a round).

Do you have inside information that there was not a round chambered? That would be puzzling.
And that there was no magazine disconnect safety on that handgun?
The location of the magazine would be puzzling if she did not cause it - unless you think the perp dumped the mag on his own. That does not seem likely.
As to her departure, that is likely the best outcome. She was not suited for that work. At no point was she in the game.

Looks like the perp took the clip out or had picked it back up when the second officer approached and tossed it on ground by curb at 2:50 mark of video before going to get in cop car
