My oldman is 87 strong as an ox. He had lung cancer had lower lobe removed 3 years ago. Been getting checked every 6 months for last three years . Well they found three spots last week on liver. Had biopsy done got results today cancer. Anyone ever had liver cancer or know someone? We are scheduled to see doctor next week to see what can be done. What we have read online doesn’t sound promising. Anyone have experience with this health issue? Would love feedback back what to expect. Appreciate any help.

Guess we will find out when we see new doctor. They say it came from his lung cancer.

Sorry to hear this. For those in my family who have had cancer, the liver is where their cancer spread to. Unfortunately, they didn’t have lasting success with treatment. Good luck to you and your dad.

Only guy I knew had liver cancer, They removed a big part of his liver and he recovered. He was like 28. Gotta think being 87 changes approaches as well as different cancers. Best of luck dude. Hopefully it’s some sort of slow cancer that won’t be worth addressing at his age. More years of quality life just not treating it.

My father had it. They did targeted, small balls of chemo directly into the tumor and it worked and i think it was called radio embalization.he certainly would not have survived full body chemo. The congestive heart failure is what got him

Be thankful for a hell of a run… my father had a tumor and was able to get a transplant but he was much younger… good luck to the old timer
