'here' and 'there' are too difficult of words to grasp?

I know. Looking back after spending 6 years in Baron Rouge I think I made a small mistake.

Today I went to the store with a simple task of grabbing a carton of 2% milk. Grabbed it and came home. Went to pour some and realized it was 1%. Life happens fast.

Lmao you absolutely can afford to live in Nashville on less than half a million.

Well if you make less than a half a million a year you can't afford to live there or New Orleans to be fair.

The answer I was looking for... I knew the OT would come through. Thanks!

Moving in your senior year of HS sucks. Gotta to try to make all new friends for just one year.

I will be glad to get out of this broke Arse blue state. Taxes alone will save me over 5K a year.

That's a shame. Bloomington is like the quintessential slice of Americana. I will hate to see what happens there when State Farm eventually leaves.
I thought they were closing regional offices and moving employees to the main offices in B-N, PHX, Dallas, and Atlanta? Why the mandatory move to Dallas?
edit: I agree with the others that I would try and make my daughter a priority and do what I can to let her finish at her high school.

Just when I thought some of you couldn't get any dumber ... I gotta get off this board.
To the OP -- Is it possible to make arrangements for the senior to spend their last year in Illinois? Family? Friends? Could you squeeze out a school year's worth while the wife and other family moves back to Texas?

Leave your daughter the house till she graduates. Tell her no house parties. Send her pizza money and tell her to get a job to pay the bills

I left Home at 20 and moved to Arizona and then Charlotte. In 10 years they came to see me once. In the six years I have been “home” they have came to see me 3 or 4 times.
I kept telling myself it’s not me but it’s the GD basin bridge and the Baton Rouge traffic. Appreanlty Youngsville to Baton Rouge is a no go.

My advice is you’ve provided s great life for your kids. So they have to move. So fricking what. Be thankful they still have two parents that support them. Making sacrifices suck
