Only Losers go to garage sales and buy stuff and immediately put up for sale on eBay.

Congrats I guess.

I don't get it.

Your holy grail that you looked for for 25 years just to immediately sell it?

You might accidentally hit Owlbert with it and I’d feel bad

It’s the hunt. I don’t want it. Another Holy Grail is a butcher cover Beatles album. I don’t want it either. I just want to find one

you found some old people that had no idea of what exactly they were selling and couldn’t wait to take advantage and come brag about the profit you were able to confiscate

He knew exactly what he had, he even said he had 4 more Cameron’s (he was keeping). I dropped $350 on these 14 clubs. I didn’t look them up. He asked $400, I countered with $350, he took it. These irons sell for about $100 per iron.

I had one back when I played golf. Had a king cobra offset driver I loved. Whole bag got stolen.

Not super rare, but an early version of the Ping Anser 2. They generally sell for 200 to 400 depending on condition. Putter collecting is a strange thing. It IS a fantastic putter to use and play. I would NOT refurb it at all. Just some gun oil and light wipe down. The collectible market for most putters is pretty soft right now.

I had a guy come into my shop with an estate sale item, I asked if he was antique tiger. He wasn't.

Sell on eBay, ship via FedEx Home (due to the length)

I found a Scotty Cameron “Art of Putting” putter for $25. I bought an entire set of Titleist AP3 718, the Scotty, and 8 Titleist woods for $350 (14 clubs total, $25 each) Already sold for $210

One of the few finds that I don’t find very cool. How is your holy grail something you immediately sell for <$200 profit?

Dirt cheap Scotty’s are for golfers to be excited about. At least bag it for a round or two.

This was my first in 25 years of hunting. That’s why it’s a Holy Grail

I have 3 in my garage I’ll never use again

Used Scottie’s aren’t that rare, weird you’ve never seen one. Maybe people just prefer to keep nice putters like me.
