ADX Florence has come up lately because that is where El Chapo is likely headed. So I found this story/interview from a guy who was imprisoned there and was eventually released. He met people like the Unabomber, the Shoe Bomber, and Eric Rudolph while there.

So this MF'er was in super lock-down and was still causing problems? What an a-hole?!

they should just put those MF'ers down.

That makes me claustrophobic just reading about it. I can't believe they put people that aren't lifers in that kind of environment. If you weren't inhuman when you went in, you sure would be after you get out.

It's amazing how institutionalized career criminals are. Prison, regardless of how minimal the conditions is just a place where they meet their friends.

Prison isn't supposed to be enjoyable.

ADX isn’t so much about sentence length but about having a solution for those inmates who just absolutely won’t act right. The ones that are a danger to staff and other inmates even at a USP. Lots of lifers adjust and just do their time while some inmates with just 10 years can’t make the adjustment.

Some days living in an ADX cell looks pretty good to me.

The right side. I’ve rolled around on the floor more than a few times fighting an inmate. That’s why I know we have to have a place like ADX. So we can all make it out safe at the end of the day as we say.

Nah.. he won’t.
I always enjoy the embellishment and/or lies of losers like that guy.
