damn. I could see doing something cheeky like this for a month or so stint. But 7.5years? I'd be depressed as hell.
I have a friend that has to serve 24 more. I would be depressed as frick. He'll be 75. I just don't think I could do that much time.

Humans are pretty adaptable. Once you overcome the shock and get in the routine and adjust your expectations of life you manage.
I've watched several interviews with ex-cons including white collar criminals and that is basically what they have all said.

Justin Paperny is one of those folks. He now does consulting for guys about to enter the system. It's interesting stuff.

No question, and I'd venture to bet it's more than simply "millions."
These people knew what they were getting into and knew they'd eventually face prison time. So it basically came down to them knowing they'd have to sacrifice time down the road (I'm assuming he won't serve anywhere close to 7.5 years) to party it up and live the billionaire lifestyle for as long as possible.

Trump will pardon Salame since he took the fall for supporting him.

Fed time is 85% of the sentence. He will do the last year or 6 months in a halfway house, but he will do a significant portion of the 7.5.
He may be eligible for the First Step Act but I'm not sure there.

bingo people who are listening to Salame and think he was innocent, have to be super gullible.
Guy admitted he used customer funds to pay for personal expenses once the house of cards came crashing down. Plus he admitted to falsifying documents for the shell company North Dimension, in which they unlawfully moved customer money to pay off bribes etc... not even counting political contributions.
Guy was in on the whole thing since the beginning.

He was laundering money on an enormous scale …. and skimming in the process…. he should’ve gotten 20 years

Cumberland is a medium so not a country club.

Sure but there are 2 components to where you get sent to do your time:
1. Your charge -- in this case it is non-violent so that will lead to lower security housing.
2. Length of sentence -- this part is tricky as I'm not sure where 7.5 years puts him....I believe he could end up doing some time at the medium and then transfer to a minimum.
I'm a layman in this area but this is my understanding.
It is possible he ends up at a camp for his entire sentence.

The crazy thing is he pled guilty for his wife. She got that plastic surgery where they make your cheeks big to look like jigsaw

Federal sentence. No way he only serves half. 85% of the sentence is what you can expect to serve
That’s exactly how Fed Pen works.
1 for 1
7 years sentence is 3.5 years in prison
