That's an excellent point provided they had no history of domestic violence.
If he cheated, refused to leave, and she wanted to expedite divorce by getting the clock running on the 1 year separation, the innocent wife would definitely move out.

Maybe I'm just being naive, but if he wanted to make the case that he was trying to save his family, I'm sure if we can all put our heads together, we can come up with a better plan than having his kids watch him beat his wife's arse.
If that does bring the family together in the emergency room, that togetherness just might not be sustainable.

Wish a lawyer would come in and tell us just how bad he is fricked or if they will plea down these charges...and how it will affect him as a lawyer

Doesn't take a lawyer to tell you that this dude is effed

Yea I'm mostly talking out my arse guessing bout how the scene really went down but I'm seriously wondering what in the hell made very well educated man snap and go that batshit crazy with ZERO regard for consequences or his daughters.
I keep coming back to:
1. The Jody was a shock to him as in she promised not to bone him any more or a it was a new partner and he was caught completely by surprise when she pulled up with a dude at 230.
2. He was really drunk/high.
3. 1 & 2 ?

Women make men do irrational shite. They are, most of the time, our weakness. We will react to something in a blind rage. Not saying it was right or justified just saying crimes of passion happens a good bit.
That being said Id venture to bet that he was shwasted

I've said this before here:
Edited b/c I don't like hard copies of that floating around.

I'm sure the guy wasn't thinking rationally, but he should've dropped his kids off and then went and beat the guy's brains out. I'm sure the wife just stepped in the middle and he tossed her to the side. Obviously we only know a small part that of the story, but one thing every married man can agree on is the "friend" was going to be pummeled.

Not me. He wasn't the one cheating, she was. You can't blame a man for taking available pussy.
If she wants another D, let her have it IMO. You can't stop someone who wants to cheat from cheating.

Without a doubt. But every day you see some frickhead lose his shite and often violate a protective order(not the first time) when he goes stalking and murdering his estranged/ed wife.
Just saying that it's normal to FEEL those emotions but definitely not normal or okay to ACT on them.

concur, it's a testament(not testicles,) to my sanity, ethics, and somewhat morality that my ex hasn't died a slow, methodically painful demise, but I guess time is taking care of that for me

Before you get too crazy on Jody. I was there once, chick just picked me up in a bar and took me home. No mention AT ALL that she was separated. Angry husband shows and I just said: "Before we get started, I had ZERO idea that you existed." He took one look at her smirking and knew the deal. I skedaddled but I felt like staying and helping him to whip her arse.
