Well, that changes things. If she sent him a selfie of her working on another cock while he was keeping the kids, it would explain why he was there at 2:30am and why he had the kids with him.

i don't know of any negative history in his practice, and it is a time of great emotional turmoil for him. although it is a crime, it is not an act of dishonesty that would hurt the profession. he won't go to jail. no jail wants the job of housing and protecting a former prosecutor from the prisoners he put there. he will probably strike a deal with the office of disciplinary counsel to be suspended for a year, with all of the penalty being deferred if he refrains from killing his wife during the year. he'll survive this and continue to be successful.

Is he no longer a prosecutor? Was he let go for this incident?

But why is Jody being protected in this whole ordeal?
I'd guess because he didn't break any laws.
Also, who gives a shite that this woman is technically married in the eyes of the law? Obviously this is a bullshite technicality and their marriage is over. Her soon to be ex-husband needs to quit being a butt hurt little bitch and accept that his soon to be ex-wife is free to frick whoever she wants.

for a moment I was thinking it might be one of my old fraternity bros
In the 90's one of my fraternity brothers who was working in a LA DA's office got indicted for giving out lenient DWI sentences to young women in lieu of sexual favors. Don't think he was convicted though.

Deblieux, 38, is accused of going to his estranged wife's rental home on March 4 at 2:30 a.m. and beating her up. The Investigative Unit has learned Deblieux, "forced her to the ground, threw to the ground her friend and punched him in the head, while wrestling both of them on the ground."
Seriously, lady. You left an Alpha for a complete Delta of a male
She might have left because the douchebag had been beating on her before.

I'm old chicano and been married 35 years. So no it wasn't me that got tossed on the ground. Wasn't my grandson either because he would be plowing that skank and whipping the dads arse at the same time while asking the kids to go make him a sandwich in mommas kitchen.
