You should have done this thread.
I liked the little bits I saw in the video. Seems they didn't try to screw with the original profiles too much.

It’s the 2 door, 4 door, sport. The first two have removable tops. Not sure about the sport. The sport looks like it’s targeting a totally different audience than the others

So, how overpriced will these be?
I'll leave that for lnchbox to handle.

I was surprised when I searched that no one posted it yesterday. Too much political interest on the OT I assume.

Will these have solid axles and lockers like a Wrangler or are they primarily mall cruisers?

This is the best concept that ever came out for this. Of course Ford went the other way because of course they did.

No details on front axle yet.

I would be surprised for it to have a solid front axle with the compact body.
Is the current ranger solid?
Although it has a hint of a pumpkin in this screengrab from the video on the previous page. High ground clearance if so.

So you wanted it to look basically like an f150?
Posted on 7/7/20 at 9:17 am to slackster
I’m excited to see the interior look like the inside of a 2009 Toyota Camry

From the comments.....
"Spirit of a Mustang....Coyote V8?"
I could get behind that.

Ford has been teasing a bronco release for 10 years. What gives?

This is correct given what they are going with.

V8 ain’t happening, it’ll be ecoboost engines.

Official release day is July 13th. Video released a week out as teaser.
Most guessing it will start around 30-35k.

I much prefer what they’ve come up with. It seems to be in line with the original, but obviously updated. An F150 clone would have been incredibly lazy and uninteresting in my opinion, but to each their own.
