Ford Rangers - are they worth a darn?

Specifically the 2021 and 2022 models. I've seen the 2019 had some issues.

A truck but guy told me the underrated small one- believe it or not- ( probably not) is the Hyundai Santa Cruz with the turbo engine because it has the power and drives like a car. It has a shorter bed but I think it looks pretty decent by comparison and would be fine for someone who just wants the versatility. I’d get one for my gf . I’m a sedan guy.

For the price of a loaded Ranger you can get an XL or XLT F-150.

Is that the current wait time on an order. I thought I read that they’ve already sold all of the 2022’s that they are going to produce. I need to speak to a dealer myself.

I don’t follow the new truck market very closely but honestly they look kinda pricey compared to what you get with an f150. I’d be more interested in this new Ford maverick which is supposed to be more affordable.

This is a problem for all mid size truck manufacturers. I have the Canyon AT4 and the power distribution pisses me off daily.

I have a 2019 Lariat and I have had no issues at 16k miles. I put a 3" leveling kit and 32" KO2s on it and lost a little MPG but I prefer it to my 2018 Silverado. It works for me, your mileage may vary.
