Is everyone on here Abe Simpson. All y'all do is complain about traffic, parking, people who drive different cars than you.
Leave earlier.

Atlanta is cool because there's almost three downtown looking areas. Downtown proper, Midtown, and Uptown. I think that's right.
That’s called sprawl.

I may hate the Falcons, but I've been to Atlanta twice and had a great time. I will never be able to remember the name or even location but went to a hole-in-the-wall Asian restaurant, and my God, that was some good food. Went to a German-type restaurant also and it was incredible. We went to a Hawks game and had fun too.

Houston has two loops around the city- Beltway 8 and 610 loop. Atlanta has one- 285. Advantage Houston
Atlanta desperately needs a 2nd loop but there’s nowhere to put it. Everything north are mountains. Maybe a semi-loop somewhere south like what Birmingham has. They also really need to overhaul the 285/20 west interchange.

Perimeter and Cumberland are pretty downtown-looking now too.

Houston has three loops now with the addition of the Grand Parkway 99.

Couldn't agree more. I remember in the mid-nineties, the city released a proposal, which included a second loop that went from Alpharetta- Kennesaw- Powder Springs and so on, but there was to much push-back from every city along the route. To much NIMBYism.

, I maybe moving to Peachtree City this summer. Do yall have any recommendations on neighborhoods in that area
There really isn't a bad area of Peachtree City. If you have kids I would try to find something in the McIntosh(central area east-west to Fayetteville /Coweta County line) or Starr's Mill ( southern/SE part of city to Spalding/Coweta/Brooks/Senoia lines) school districts.
Sandy Creek, the 3rd HS that serves the area, is s a really good school but not as good as the first two. McIntosh has been a model school since I was in high school 25 years ago.
If you need places to eat, hit me up.

I think of ATL and the ring around the congo comes to mind. When I'm there I know it's apt metaphor

Downtown current feels like The Walking Dead. The homeless situation next to Fulton County courthouse is insane. Where will all of the zombies go?

How much worse can the 85/20 interchange area get?
