Add in southern homestyle cooking, southern seafood and Mexican food and the South stands alone
Each area of the country has types of food that they do better than others. For example, Italian is done better in the Northeast than other parts of the country in my opinion
I do prefer the food in the South as a whole over most other regions. Cajun, creole, TexMex, BBQ, soul food etc.

That’s what annoys me. Every place has their “thing” when it comes to food. And I’d be willing to bet that that thing is better than you’d get it elsewhere. But saying “find better Mexican or BBQ!” is not the same as “we have the best food in the country”

Still doesn’t refute the argument that most major cities have better food than the south.
Thats fine. As a whole though the South still has better food, which was the original argument.

Pretty much. There's a reason people move here by the thousands daily

And I disagree with that original argument.
Do the most James Beard winners reside in the south? No. Michelin stars? Nope. What about highest rated restaurants? Not that either.
So why does the south have better food?
For the record, I LOVE food in the south. It’s fantastic. I’m not trying to say it’s bad at all. But the best? Not even close.

I could give a shite about restaurant stars and meals with little dainty finger sized portions
Because that's my opinion. Is that allowed

Michelin stars?
Scam.
ETA: More so a fraud.

Fine. Michelin Stars mean nothing. And the other two things I mentioned? Is the James Beard award also a scam?

No. And I wasn't arguing the south had better food. I merely pointed out Michelin rating is a fraud.

Without a doubt it’s allowed. But if you want to make an assertion, be able to back it up. It’s a subjective argument to some degree, and your opinion carries as much validity as mine. Just preface your statement with “In my opinion” if you don’t want to give evidence to back up your claim.

Also, you clearly have a shite to give. If you don’t care at all, then you couldn’t give a shite.

I chose to let that go rather than point out California and the Southwest easily has better Mexican food.
Especially if you're referring to actual Mexican food but I'm guessing he's talking about Tex-Mex.

I don’t necessarily think you’re wrong. It’s become a lot about business. But I don’t think it carries no weight.

In my opinion the South's food scene as a whole shits on any other region of the United States

There you go. You’re learning.
I disagree with your opinion, but I wholeheartedly respect it.

Low income? Lol
Who needs high income when you live a constant vacation? It sounds to me you would rather be in my position with as much time you have focusing on the threads I’m involved with.
I spent a month in Southeast Asia earlier this year. If that defines low income, so be it.
