That's not why he was banned if he's banned.

He disappeared right after he laughed at flood victims in Houston following Hurricane Harvey and said he was being a good businessman and not price gouging for jacking up gas prices at his convenience stores following the storm. He said if they can't afford his higher prices then tough shite. Or something to that effect.

Immediately after bigf posted that I remember an admin replied to him with something like, "You made this easy for me."

In his defense his marked-up up prices create a vacuum for new entrants to compete on price thus deflating the market prices. It's like the water argument after a storm. High prices attract new entrants. Seems valid to me

ETA: He said he told the you he was going to closed for a week or more and he had to pay for his employees, property taxes, insurance etc...so it's not gouging if he is trying to compensate for a loss in business days he was open for. He's sorry and said he has more than enough money from Tesla (not Exxon) stock to not have to price gouge storm victims next time
