Accounting or Process Technology is what I should have done.

? I haven't looked in awhile but I always saw EE and ME on the "like to haves" in most engineering jobs unless they were specific types of engineering.
As stated, it depends on the specific type of job. If you want to work in power distribution/utilities/ construction, then you'll eventually need to get a PE.
However, other speacilities in EE or ME dont require a degree.

You obviously don't have an English degree.

ME and EE have difficult times finding jobs
Just depends on what you study and want to do, but you should always be able to find employment if you’re flexible. I had to move out to SF to find microchip manufacturing work, but I didn’t HAVE to work in that specific field.
If you can do the jobs that the designers can’t or don’t want to do you’ll always be valuable.

What’s happening
I got a job in New Orleans as a project manager.. stayed there for about 2.5 years then just recently moved back home for a similar position.
I wish I would have done business too

Wish I had not done college and learned carpentry sooner which is much more profitable and satisfying than anything else ive done.
Dont waste money on anything other than accounting, engineering, teaching, nursing, or a science if you decide to do med school.
Accounting can get you down any business path you want to go. Marketing and management can be learned through experience.
