For non-smokers/vapers: could you date/marry someone who smokes or vapes?

Even if they did it on rare occasion? How strongly do you dislike it? If you were really into the person and she/he said that it would always be a part of who they were, how would you react?
Edit to add: I don't do either, btw. I smoked one cigarette in 8th grade. It sucked! Lol
I don't like the smell either. I hate the smell of vaping as well, and I really hate the smell of marijuana. All three are a deal breaker if you ask me. I was just curious what others thought.

Marry: hell no, they stink, their car stinks, their wardrobe stinks and their house stinks! Of course these are extremes, but I’m sure for someone who smokes daily the smell never really goes away

cost wise, say a pack a day smoker is $5-6 a day? That's nearly $2000 a year.

I don't smoke or vape. My girlfriend smokes maybe half a pack a week. Maybe a pack a week if it's something like Mardi Gras. It's not that big of a deal to me. I know that she will be able to stop entirely at some point.
I do think it would be an issue if she smoked like a half a pack a day or something along those lines.
