Have you tried to switch to multi player board games? You'll be socializing much more hanging out with a group of friends.

That’s if friends are available to play. Most people are either playing videos games, doom scrolling social media, or watching porn.

I just play at night when everyone else in the house is asleep or close to it. Gives me a little time to myself before heading to bed.

Using the multiplayer qualifier has me wondering...are there single player board games?

There's always the classic solitaire with a deck of cards

Sadly, some companies make solo board games

Yes, but you’re playing against the CPU.

Chess for example.

A grown man who spends too much time playing video games? Maybe you’ll be able to give up your virginity this year too

TV stuff is all a wasteful distraction. There's a whole world out there and a finite time to experience it.

I don't play video games and we only watch tv at night on the weekdays. Can't go out and explore the world and experience it at night when you have work the next day

Video games are just as addicting as anything else. I won several seasons of MLG in mw1 and 2, and was a big deal in r6 for almost a decade. It didnt affect work, but i wasted the progression in my 20s. Being the best at something in a community is insanely hard to break away from. But i did decide i wasnt going to spend my life on that and i want a wife and kids. Got very much in shape, married, got a house and acre, and moved on from that. It was tough but i did lean on God for support big time. He answered in a brilliant way. I'm beyond blessed, and i mean that.
