No problem with this....a lot of elderly people who can’t drive themselves use food stamps.

That would involve working, “Shaniqua, ain’t got time fo that”

But yeah, that would be ideal.

So you want to increase the cost of food stamps by 15% just to cater to the 2% of recipients who are disabled?

And do you think these people are just currently starving and cannot get food

So many peabrained people that can't think things through...

People act like food stamps are the end of us. They serve a need to feed families that struggle to do so on their own accord. And this ordering and delivery service can help those without vehicles who yeah are probably on food stamps go figure. On this Easter weekend as you worship the Lord who was all about feeding the poor keep in mind the impending doom of this country for doing so. In your prayers maybe mention that to Him that it’s something He got wrong.

I’ll admit that when every last thing in my buggy is on sale, and the people in front of me are getting ribeyes and crab legs with a LA purchase card, it does rankle me a bit. But I go on living and providing for MY family and try not to worry too much about others.

one of the seven deadly sins is sloth...

most(not all) of these fricks are too lazy and are gaming the system to provide for themselves...

Ever had an old timer tell you "The Lord helps those who help themselves"?

note: that doesn't mean helping themselves to others belongings.

here is another:

‘Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.’

The abusers of the system have no will to do anything but sponge off of productive society for their whole life.

Most are people who work at low paying jobs and struggle to put food on the table. Decent people can be poor. It’s easy to shite on them because muh tax dollars but providing food to those in need is one of the few things our government does right. The total amount paid for SNAP is such a minuscule amount of the total budget but gets such an outsized amount of condemnation. Cut just a small amount off the military budget and voila you’ve covered it. But feeding the poor because they must be lazy is a much less important pursuit than welfare to the MIC so that we can fight Saudi Arabia and Israel’s wars for them.

Amazon made over $2,500,000,000 in profits last year and paid $0.00 dollars in taxes.

And you want to bitch about a poor guy buying groceries for his family?

Sometimes I do the pickup thing at Walmart. That saves money just by not going into the store. When I go in the store, I am always going to get a few things I didn't plan to get.

The other day I had a pickup order for $67. I was pumped, because if I was in the store shopping, I would probably spend an extra $20+ on shite that I can do without.. If that happens to all the welfare people then it could actually be a good thing.

Yes because everyone who works for amazon paid significantly more taxes than people on welfare did

Unless their food stamps are going towards a delivery fee, I'm not sure why I should care

If the recipient can afford a convenience fee then the recipient doesn’t as much food stamps.

My brother Ubers and seldomly he'll pick up people at the walmart on tchoup(#prayerssent) in NOLA.

Last time he went out, he transported a older lady, her 3 kids including two car seats, a wheelchair, and groceries in his small car, of course they could probably only afford the cheapest Uber instead of hiring a more appropriate size Uber. He ended up helping her with her groceries as well. Clearly the older lady was watching over the 3 kids and needed to do some grocery shopping as well.

Anyway, the situation above is likely on the extreme, but I think it happens more often than we think. I think there are other things we could do to tighten up SNAP benefits.

If we force people to buy only healthier foods, many of them will get off food stamps

The very government that creates the food pyramid should just simply send it's freeloaders foods in proportion to the said pyramid.
Doesn't the government want its citizens healthy and productive?
