Geez, guy. Don't know what to say. Do I need to drive over and do a video?

Not wasting time posting images of the others I mentioned, but can.

Costco best overall deal out there, use their Citi card and get 2% back on all purchases at Costco including food and 4% back on gas.

My wife won't drink the Walmart milk. We pay $6-7/gallon. I pick my battles carefully

Sao, do you know that different areas have different costs of living?

Did you see the part on the image in the first post where it says purchased from the same Walmart?

Do you understand how this thread wouldn't make sense if the items were purchased in different states?

Pretty much all she'll buy. I will admit that it tastes better and stays good a lot longer. Like the expiration date is often 2 weeks from the purchase date.

I kinda do... do you realize your chart and subsequent posts make no mention of where you are? We have room for you here in the Piney Woods, BTW. Come join me for cheap milk, potatoes and beautiful country girls.

The shelves were pretty empty down here at that time after the lockdown, even a year after. Supply and demand may have had alot to do with rising prices. Truckers went out of business and delivery was slow. Many factors figure in to what happens after situations like this, I can’t remember ever seeing what happens after what happened with Covid.

I guess we know now.

How can bananas remain so cheap? I worked at a grocery store in 1979 and bananas would be on sale for 3lbs for .99 cents. How can the price increase be so little over 40+ years

I just checked milk in DFW as I was curious to know what the heck is going on, if you're in NOLA or some such. Frisco, Plano and Dallas zips and stores is $2.74. The cost of living in DFW can't be different than Louisiana, or I wouldn't think.
