Same reason splenda says it has no calories, yet actually has 4 calories in every packet. The fda states by law that if something has less than 5 calories it can be labeled as calorie free which is absolute horse shite....

Have you discussed goat milk with allergist?
Many cow milk problems do not occur, and it is highly nutritious.

can he not have dairy, or can he not have lactose? if he can have dairy but not lactose, fairline milk is your savior.

When you go to the allergist he/she will give you a list of big words that mean dairy. They hide in a lot of stuff. If your kid has severe reactions, don't be guessing what he can and can't have.

He was saying on the food board how curry was a sauce and not a powder. Said that curry powder was an Americanized Indian spice. I asked how he thought people in India make a curry sauce.

Well splenda has sugar alcohols, so they are processed differently than real sugar as well.

Probably brand specific, from what I've read, almond breeze products are all vegan except for the hint of honey products because honey is not vegan (apparently even bee spit is an animal product).

How does that "milk" not turn to smelly clumpy crap not refrigerated?

Vitamix. Not blender.
Answer for op: corporations tell your members of Congress and the fda and the USDA to jump.
They say, how high?

How old is your child? Almond milk is in NO WAY a substitute for milk. Please check with your child's doctor. You could be looking at serious problems down the road.

Agree completely with Bmath. Neurological problems can be a serious issue if the child doesn't have adequate fat intake. Nephew has problems, was fed skim milk as an infant.
