That sounds like some cult group involvement, mix of fundamentalism (baby born at home) and extreme faith healing (no doctor).

There was something more going on with those folks besides malnutrition and lack of B12.

I don't think you would die of malnutrition from eating this. Sounds more like he wasn't eating at all.

Whatever happened to a healthy, balanced diet? frick the food pyramid, no need for that nonsense. I've known several vegetarians/vegans. As a rule they fall into two categories. There are those who have educated themselves how to eat that way and still get the calories, protein, and nutrients they require on a daily basis. And there are those who have just declared themselves to be vegan/vegetarian but have no understanding how to do it in a healthy way that is not detrimental to their bodies.
One snapshot is all that is needed to differentiate between the two.

Yea I think being a Vegan is a convenient label for this brawd, she legit has something wrong with her if that baby was born at home, had never seen a doctor, and only weighed 17 lbs.

Vegan diets can be very healthy if you do the research and supplement your diet. Have k own a few Vegans that were very healthy but they weren’t idiots

These two are idiots and there was obviously much more going on.

Don't pin this on the vegans. Parents straight up didn't get their kid's macros straight.

But really for a kid this age, vegetarianism is the way to go. Eggs and milk pack a huge nutritional punch. The baby's teeth aren't ready for nuts and legumes.

This is more of a Florida problem than a vegan one.

There's nothing wrong with choosing to be a vegan as an adult. Letting a child die of malnutrition because of your own idiotic beliefs is the problem.

Being a vegan is not natural for humans. We have eaten meat for hundreds of thousands of years. Vegans are spitting in the face of mother nature.

You may be able to live a healthy life being a vegan, but its not natural at all, and its kind of an elitist attitude to think you are above the natural order of things.
