Florida mom loses son, 20, and daughter, 23, to COVID-19

First off, this is a tragedy no matter what one thinks of the virus. For a mom to go through this is horrible beyond mention.
My problem though is with the headline, and of course the facts hidden in the story itself:

Of course there were underlying conditions. That should come as no surprise to anyone.
Do you think they'd still be alive if they hadn't caught COVID?

Looks to me as if poor dietary choices killed these two. As the knight from Raiders said " They chose poorly".

There are many diseases out there that can take someone’s life quickly when they are in very poor health. Covid 19 is but one.

That’s terrible & I feel horrible for the parents but my goodness they are responsible for the health of their kids

Keep schools closed and not provide physical fitness and you are going to see much more of this.

That's very sad, and my sympathy goes out to the mother. That's certainly an unimaginable loss.
But, you're not "fine" if you're basically home-bound. One thing that SHOULD come of this virus (but won't) is the need for people to take better care of themselves.
If you're morbidly obese, or obese enough that you aren't leaving your house, every conceivable health issue is a greater risk to your life. But for their obesity, it's a near certainty these two young people would have survived Covid.
But, you're not "fine" if you're basically home-bound. One thing that SHOULD come of this virus (but won't) is the need for people to take better care of themselves.
